Introduction to the Organisation

Newmans Painting Services are a team of qualified highly skilled professional painters and decorators working in the residential and commercial sectors. The organisation was established in 1980 and has worked mainly in the Sydney NSW region for over 30 years.

Introduction to the Founder/Manager

The organisation is managed by founder John Newman who has been working in the industry for over 40 years, having completed an apprenticeship in the united kingdom in 1976 and attaining;

  • Advanced craft certificate in Painters and Decorators work, City and Guilds of London Institute.

  • John also holds the following qualifications: 

  • Advanced Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Diploma of Project Management.

  • Certificate four in TAE Training and Assessment.

  • Certificate four in Frontline Management.

  • Occupational first Aid.

  • Certified lead and asbestos management for contractors.

  • Certified Enviro-Painter “sustainable painting practices”  

  • Certified colour consultant
